What Shift Rentals Is

Shift Rentals is a luxury rental marketplace covering exotic and luxury cars, yacht charters and villas. Instead of an instant-checkout booking form, every request is reviewed by a human concierge who confirms availability, pricing and delivery details before payment.

The marketplace brings three categories under one roof: cars priced by the day, yachts priced by the hour and typically crewed, and villas priced by the night. All three are run through the same concierge process, so a guest booking a bachelor party weekend can arrange a car, a yacht and a villa through one point of contact.

Cars, Yachts and Villas

The car fleet runs 141 vehicles across six cities, starting at $150 a day and topping out near $4,000 for the most exclusive models. Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, McLaren, Bentley and Mercedes-AMG are all represented, alongside a mix of SUVs, convertibles, coupes and sedans.

The yacht fleet lists 82 boats across four markets, starting at $195 an hour, ranging from 32 feet up to 143 feet. Most charters are fully crewed with a captain, and many boats carry extras like paddleboards, jet skis or a jacuzzi.

The villa portfolio covers 40 properties in two markets, starting at $1,995 a night, with homes running from one bedroom up to ten-bedroom mansions that sleep up to 22 guests.

Where Shift Operates

Cars are available in Miami, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Nashville and New York. Yacht charters run in Miami, the Hamptons, Los Angeles and New York. Villas are available in Aspen and Miami. Every market is served by the same concierge team and the same booking process, regardless of category or city.

How Booking Works

Booking follows the same steps everywhere. First, you send a request with your dates, location and, for cars, the model you want, or for yachts and villas, your group size. Second, a concierge checks availability and confirms the price, the deposit if any, and any delivery or minimum-stay details specific to that booking. Third, once everything is confirmed, payment is arranged and the delivery or arrival details are finalized. Nothing is charged automatically and there is no instant checkout at any step.

Delivery

Cars are delivered to hotels, private residences and airports rather than picked up from a lot, including MIA and FLL in Miami, LAS in Las Vegas, LAX in Los Angeles, ORD in Chicago, BNA in Nashville, and JFK or LGA in New York. Yacht charters depart from marina areas near each market rather than a single fixed dock, and villas are ready for arrival at the property itself.

Who Shift Is For

Guests book Shift for a range of occasions: a weekend in a city they don't live in, a bachelor or bachelorette trip, a wedding, a birthday, a corporate event, or simply a vacation where a car, a boat or a villa upgrades the trip. The concierge model exists because these bookings tend to involve specifics, like a delivery window or a group size, that a self-serve checkout handles poorly.
